These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the StarBoxed iOS application ("App") and the website at https://starboxed.co.uk ("Website"), operated by Cody1 ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by accessing the Website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You must not:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.
• Use cheats, automation, or exploits to manipulate leaderboards or gameplay.
• Use the App or Website for unlawful purposes or to harass others.

2. No account required

StarBoxed does not require you to create an account with us. Optional Apple Game Center sign-in is governed by Apple's terms.

3. Free app and advertising

The App is free to download and play. It is supported by banner and rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are optional and may be watched to receive in-game hints. We do not offer in-app purchases or a paid ad-removal option.

4. Gameplay and leaderboards

Daily challenge times may be submitted to Apple Game Center leaderboards when you complete a puzzle and are signed in. Only legitimate completions count. We reserve the right to disregard scores obtained through cheating or technical exploitation.

5. Intellectual property

StarBoxed, its name, logo, design, puzzles, and content are owned by Cody1 or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Website and contact form

You agree not to submit unlawful, abusive, or spam content through our contact form. We may suspend access to the form if it is misused.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cody1 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or Website.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for a free app, is zero) or £100, whichever is greater, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Third-party services

The App integrates third-party services including Apple Game Center and Google AdMob. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following applies:

• These Terms are between you and Cody1, not Apple.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• Apple is not responsible for any product claims, intellectual property claims, or third-party claims relating to the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited parties.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or Website if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
